What's better than a Sundae?

A Sunday with your family........

 A family hike......
 Say hi to the neighbors!
Walkie-Talkies are a necessity, in case we get separated!

 10-4, you copy?

 Heart Lake....
 Handpicked bouquet of green clovers.

Tree stumps + an eye for hearts =
A Heart

 The look of awe..and wonder.
 Follow the leader...

Hiking in the country. Boots required.
(Brother Bear)
Hiking in the country. Boots and Green Pail required.
 (Papa Bear and Sister Bear)
 Walkie-Talkie keeper.

Say hi to the neighbors again..
(They love company)
 Brother Bear luring baby calves
over for a play date.

This hike was awesome, do you read me?
Over and out.
Y'all are just the best neighbors.
Time to get back to the trailer and gather stuff,
for a fishing trip down the road.

As we headed down the road, to fish... we had plans of dropping Papa Bear and the cubs off at the fishing spot, while I ran to town to get some fried chicken and hot coffee. As we passed by the home of a neighbor down the road, we saw o k e.. and then fire! Papa Bear didn't see anyone home, and the fire! looked unattended and unintentional. So he pulled over and hopped out of the car and for the next 45 minutes, he worked hard on putting that fire! out. That Green Pail you saw earlier... it was not meant just for fishing today. Gratefully, that fire! happened to be near a pond and that Green Pail saved the day!

As you can see, I came through with the
Fried Chicken!!
Notice the Green Pail
Take note..
it came in handy for "Mama's new seat".

 And the Hot coffee!

Sister Bear was set on catching that fish!
So Papa Bear had a little fun with her..
He tugged on her fishing line....
 She jumped up with excitement!
 The moment was priceless.
She really thought it was that time!
Time to reel in that fish!
She was such a good sport and didn't
give Papa Bear too hard of a time for
pulling a prank on her.

She was full of smiles!

Then Brother Bear was convinced that
he could reel a real one in, all on his own.
 The look of confidence.

Telling Papa Bear all about it.

He realized, digging in the dirt is more his thing.
Leave fishing to Papa Bear and
...Sister Bear (still in training).
Another realization came to mind today..
Maybe we gave Brother Bear the wrong name?
Have you met our son, Joe Dirt?

Today couldn't have been more fun..simple and about being together in the country as a family. We ended the evening in the trailer, having fish for supper. No, it wasn't a fresh catch of the day. But it was the perfect ending to our fun-hopeful-fish-fireproofed-filled-day!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Gathering love-filled Memories,
Mama Bear
