We've been frequenting the Zoo lately on Fridays after we're done with school. It's a good way to get out of the house and roam free outdoors!
It's becoming my favorite place to be with the children after the week is said and done.
The kids feed ibis right out of their hands.......
Our favorite stop.....The Bears!
And the last time we measured each child.....
We've discovered that Frozen bananas from the zoo are really delicious!
It's quiet, relaxing and a good way to enjoy living in Florida this time of year.
The river otters are another one of their favorites to visit!
The kangaroos were funny this day, although I didn't photograph them.
I thought these two were a bit cuter!
Sister has always enjoyed chasing....or being chased!
We've learned that the two bears that live there at the zoo are orphaned brothers named Lois and Clark born in captivity after their mama bear died. They LOVE to eat fruit, dog food, sometimes meat and when they are given a treat, it's honey and they LOVE it!
Just a little of what we've been up to!
Love,
Mama Bear

Thanks! As the kids are getting older, they are such a delight. Well, they have always been a delight, it's just that their conversations with me are growing into something really special.
Great pics. We started our family in Florida before moving away years ago. Great memories of a great state!
Warren, we started our family in Florida and it has been a great place to start out..we're in the process of moving the family to a nice place to raise a family....in Oklahoma! We're so excited! God shows us it's time in unexpected ways. God bless your families.
