A new venture for Sister Bear.....

So, Sister Bear agreed that she would like to take a class, where she can dance, learn about gymnastics and make new friends at the same time. It's just fantastic fun!

She went for her first trial run to see, feel and explore the idea before we enroll her......

I was just amazed at how quickly she mingled in with these 2 girls she had never met before. They have been in the class for the past 6 months and are getting ready for their end of the semester show. So they were already experienced in the dancing and other routines. Sister bear has never done anything like this, except for the free-play-goofiness with me at home.....

She talked about the "wittle gym" (as she named it) all the way home and told me that the two little girls are her best friends. She said to me, "mama?, i love my wittle gym -thanks, mama". I am so excited about her starting this class in about a week. The great thing about this new class, is it's going to help with her coordination, socialization and her creativity all in one place. I look forward to watching her develop over the next 6 months and make some new friends. I tell you, our new community is already being really good to us. Thank you, Texas, we love you......

And the surprise ending? You get a video clip of her dancing in her tap shoes while they are practicing their ballet. You know Sister bear, she loves to dance to the beat of her own drum.....
