yesterday sister bear helped me write out the grocery list, she even grabbed the pen and held onto it with me while i jotted things down. she moved her little hand back and forth, really fast. she felt so proud of herself. we started with plums, a new interest of hers. then as we gathered brother bear and my purse, she grabbed her fruits & veggies basket and headed for the door.
when we got our cart to shop, we chose the big one with the bench seating, so she could help scout things out. as clunky as the cart was, it was worth it. although i'm now considering getting my conductor's license, the thing drives like a train!
our grocery list:
black bean veggie patties
red sauce (we'll make from scratch next time, for a recipe that i will share soon -delish!)
cookie dough (organic, like everything else of course!)
2 glass jars for left overs (1 small) (1 large), no more plastic
toilet paper (we even use greenwise TP)
waffles (sister bear's request "awfulls") -we ate them this morning for breakfast
almond milk (she calls this mama's milk)
i love and will always love grocery shopping with sister bear, i have always said this is one of my favorite things to do since she was a baby. great memories.
